Introduction

Our website design company uses some fabulous software for our shops called Ubercart. Ubercart was first made available in 2006 and now powers 1000's of online shops around the world. As with all things Drupal it is completely scalable.

Product catalog

With our shops you can have as many products as you wish. Each product can have multiple photo's. Images can be uploaded in bulk. The system then creates resized copies for optimal onscreen display.

Products can also be put into customisable categories. The categories can then be used by customers to find products.

Single page checkout

The ease of checking out is critical. If it is in anyway long winded or complicated you will have abandoned carts. 

With Ubercart there is a single page checkout. The buyer can put their information in the checkout page, checkout with Paypal and place their order. Simple!

Orders

Ubercart has complete order management. Customers can make new orders. They can check the status of them after signing in. 

You can of course manage order fulfilment. If you've managed online orders before you will find it very intuitive. 

At any time you can download your orders into a (Excel) spreadsheet for accounting.

PayPal integration

PayPal is by far the most trusted and widely used online payment provider on the planet. Well it certainly is from the buyers point of view. The reason is because PayPal will always side with a buyer. That is however why they are so trusted by online buyers.

Ubercart comes with full PayPal integration. So when a customer clicks submit order, they are taken to the familiar Paypal payment page. After completing the payment, as they have many times before, they are re-directed back to your Website. 

Paypal also sends the payment information back to your site, to be logged against the order.

Full training provided

As always we will provide full training in videos. It's very important to us that you know how to use your Website. If you don't add content and use it, you'll just end up with a pretty looking website. Read more about our e-commerce experience and what the training will cover.
