Pay-Per-Click Campaign Management
We offer a complete PPC (pay-per-click) campaign management. Most of our experience is using Google AdWords. This is when you pay on a per click basis to be shown to users.
Adwords gets you listed at the top of Google for the right price and relevance. Here's the process that we carry out for people.
Keyword research.
This reveals what the popular keywords are. Keywords are anything that someone puts into a search engine. Using Google's keyword planner we can gather groups of relevant keywords that are likely to lead to a conversion.
Create the Campaigns, Ad Groups and Ads.
In Adwords we have the concept of Campaigns. For each Campaign we can set our daily budget. Google will then aim to have your monthly spend at 30 x daily budget. Each Campaign can contain many Ad Groups.
The Ad Group contains Ads and keywords that will trigger those Ads. For each keyword we can set our bids.
So we create a Ad Group for each group of keywords discovered during the research. We then try a few Ads in each Ad Group so as to gain insights into what does and what doesn't pay off.
Daily monitoring and analysis
After we have enabled our Ad Groups we have to watch the clicks in Analytics to find "Negative Keywords". Let me give you a recent example for us. We had the keyword "website designer". Whilst watching the actual keywords that people were entering we saw that they had searched for "Designer websites."
This is a critical aspect of building a successful campaign. Pay-per-click Campaigns can realistically take a couple of months to develop. Until then it's a case of plugging the holes as quickly as possible. That said the pay off is worth it.
